Summary

Water concerns can disrupt any home. For this Sarnia property, we were called in to address basement water issues and protect the foundation from future damage. The job required a careful approach to excavation, drainage, and waterproofing, all while maintaining the integrity of the surrounding area.

The Work

Excavated around the foundation to inspect for damage, repairing areas as needed
Installed new perforated drainage tile and surrounded with clear gravel for improved water flow
Applied tar, a rubber membrane, and dimple board to the foundation walls
Backfilled with slope away from the house, replaced patio stones, and installed new window wells
Removed and reinstalled necessary components, including air conditioning and damaged lumber
Used hydro jetting to clear drain tile for proper drainage

The Outcome

The foundation is now protected against moisture with updated drainage and waterproofing. The yard and entryway were restored, so the property looks clean and functions well, giving peace of mind for the homeowners.
